- Advise on feasibility of procurement options
- Prepare an initial budget estimate
- Liaise with client to determine requirements and develop outline brief
- Abstract cost information for completing grant applications
Pre-Contract Cost Control
- Prepare and develop preliminary cost plan
- Advise on cost of design team's proposals including alternative forms of construction
- Maintain and develop cost plan
Tender and Contractual Documentation
- Prepare tender documentation in conjunction with client and members of design team.
- Advise on tendering and contractual arrangements
- Co-ordinate issue of tender documentation
- Check prospective tenderers and advise client
- Advise on tendering and contractual arrangements
Tender Selection and Appraisal
- Prepare Tender Report and Recommendation
- Co-ordinate savings exercise and update tender documentation as required
- Review financial budget and prepare cash flow forecast
- Prepare Formal Contract
Post-Contract Cost Control
- Monthly valuation/certification of work in progress
- Monthly Cost Reporting in standard format
- Attendance at monthly policy meetings as required
- Recommendation on any corrective action required
- Review financial budget and prepare cash flow forecast
- Preparation of Final Account
